$38-$42 per hour depending on years of experience and certification — New grads welcome to apply!
Status:
Full-Time Schedule:
5 days a week (prioritizing Sunday, Monday, Friday, Saturday) Job Summary Conduct nutrition assessments within required timeframes and evaluate patient needs using evidence-based nutrition standards. Analyze clinical data and develop individualized nutrition care plans, including enteral and parenteral nutrition support. Document nutrition assessments, diagnoses, interventions, goals, and outcomes in the medical record. Monitor patient progress and adjust nutrition interventions as needed to support treatment goals. Collaborate with physicians, nursing, therapy services, social services, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Participate in care conferences and discharge planning activities. Review and approve therapeutic diets to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Provide nutrition education to patients, families, and healthcare staff through counseling, presentations, and in-service training. Support dining services teams to ensure accurate diet implementation and exceptional patient satisfaction. Maintain accurate records of clinical activities and required documentation. Serve as a preceptor for students, interns, and new dietetics team members. Perform other duties as assigned. What you Will Bring Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential and proof of passing the CDR exam through an accredited program. Current state-issued RD/RDN license or certification required for the state of practice. Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a closely related field. ServSafe® Certification preferred. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Knowledge of medical nutrition therapy, therapeutic diets, and clinical nutrition practices. Strong communication, customer service, and patient education skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team. Proficiency with nutrition software, electronic medical records, and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen. Physical and Sensory Requirements This position works in healthcare environments that may include patient-care areas, offices, and foodservice operations. Team members must be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, dining service staff, and healthcare professionals. Occasional exposure to kitchen environments, temperature fluctuations, moderate noise, and food-production equipment may occur.
