Job Description

DIETITIAN II, CLINICAL FNS
Position Summary:
Collaborates to ensure identification, assessment and care/education of patients at nutrition risk. Trains, supports and monitors Associates and students providing nutritional care. Approves programs, menus, medical diets and material related to nutritional care. Develops research-based programs, materials and handouts. Helps establish and maintain nutritional care standards. Contributes to performance improvements. Participates in appropriate meetings and conferences. Provides nutrition lectures, presentations and outpatient consultations and participates in design and implementation of services in retail services. Provides for inpatient coverage as needed. May perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). Bachelors degree. California Children's (CCS) or Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC). Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Salary Range:
$41.44 - $58.31 hourly. Salary will be commensurate with experience. As part of our ongoing effort to remain an employer of choice, eligible employees who work qualifying weekend shifts receive a competitive weekend rate.
