Job Description

The WIC Site Nutritionist manages and supervises the daily program services for the WIC clinic site(s). Ensure that daily operations at site(s) are implemented in compliance with all federal and state regulations and that all TVCCA Policies and Procedures are followed. Lead the WIC staff to provide excellent customer service with a diverse population. Problem solves and make decisions on site related issues. Certify the nutritional eligibility of program participants, and provide nutrition education and individual diet counseling with the use of Motivational Interviewing. In addition, this position requires working evenings, weekends and a flexible work schedule to meet the needs of the clinic, including performing all necessary duties. Client contacts are 80% and administrative are 20%. At least 2 years experience in a supervisory capacity. Strong computer skills. Must possess decision making, creative problem solving, organizational and leadership skills. Strong communication skills Strong customer service skills Valid driver's license, good driving record, and access to insured vehicle. Experience in a WIC clinic desirable. Proficiency in Spanish preferred.
