JOB SUMMARY
Greets hospital visitors, patients and vendors at the Information and Guest Services Desk. Provides assistance and directions to anyone requiring such. Receives, advises and directs all persons requiring information pertinent to the Hospital, patients and personnel. Assists with patient transport. Strictly abides by resort/hospitality and Hospital Customer Service Initiative standards. Maintains confidentiality of all patient and hospital information at all times.
Qualifications Education :
Position requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
At least one (1) year of experience in reception, resort hotel, hospitality and/or public relations is required. Three (3) years reception experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to read and understand oral and written instructions, and effectively communicate information. Basic computer skills (including opening/reading email, basic internet use). Excellent customer service skills. Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with departments, employees, physicians, managers, patients and visitors. Basic computer skills required. Ability to communicate with a wide variety of people. Ability to be resourceful in managing numerous demands/activities simultaneously.

Ability to react and perform under strict timelines and/or emergency situations. Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
