• Consistently named a Top Workplace in Tampa Bay by the Tampa Bay Times The role you'll contribute: Responsible for providing clinical nutrition services, including nutrition assessment, modified diet formulation, self-management training and nutrition intervention to patients/residents.

Ensures patient satisfaction, quality care, regulatory agency compliance, and good public relations are achieved through the safe and efficient use of resources. The HWC Clinical Dietitian works collaboratively with other departments within the HWC at FHWC and FHWC Dietary Services to plan and implement nutrition programs and services that meet the needs of the HWC and those served by the HWC. The value you'll bring to the team:

• Assesses the nutritional status of neonates/ infants, pediatric, adolescent, adult and/or geriatric patient through documentation in the medical record. Uses parameters such as anthropometric measurements, visual assessment and interpretation of laboratory values.
• Develops and revises a nutrition care plan based on information from the patient, medical record, family and health care team members.
• Incorporates current evidence-based research into practice.
• Adheres to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies. The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed: Please attach your updated resume Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics upon hire
• Registered Dietitian (Commission on Dietetic Registration) upon hire
• Current Florida State RD Licensure is required upon hire
• Current American Heart Association BLS or RQI certification required upon hire (HWC only)
