Full Job Description Work Shift:
The Dietitian is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high quality food and nutrition services through the food services and nutritional assessment and screening functions. Performs established procedures in accordance with dietary services and hospital policies, nutrition standards and physician's orders. Demonstrates skills in performing standards of care, direction of dietary services personnel and achievement of objectives for Dietetic Services.
Qualifications:
A.
Education & Training:
Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Institutional Management or Foods and Nutrition. B.
Experience:
One (1) year experience in a health care or food service setting as a Registered Dietitian, or as a Dietetic Intern. C.
Required Certification/Registration/Licensure:
Current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration or registration eligible. Georgia licensure by the Board of Examiners of Licensed Dietitians or Provisional License and obtain licensure within 3 months of hire. D.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Utilizes a variety of standard supplies and computers for assessment function of patient's nutritional status and patient education. Utilizes food service equipment as necessary.
