Job Description

Job Summary- PART TIME Position Available We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team, committed to improving patient health through personalized nutrition care. In this role, you will assess patients' nutritional needs, develop tailored care plans, and provide expert guidance on medical nutrition therapy. Your expertise will support individuals across diverse settings, including acute care, long-term care, geriatrics, and chronic disease management. You will collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive nutritional support and ensure optimal patient outcomes. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including nutritional analysis and diagnostic evaluations to identify dietary needs and health risks Develop and implement individualized care plans that incorporate medical nutrition therapy (MNT), tube feeding, weight management, and chronic disease management strategies Provide expert nutrition counseling and health coaching to motivate behavioral changes and promote long-term health improvements Supervise and mentor junior staff or interns within the dietary department, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and protocols Collaborate with physicians, nurses, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans effectively Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems accurately for documentation of patient progress, care plans, and nutritional interventions Educate patients on dietary modifications tailored to specific medical conditions such as geriatrics, diabetes, or gastrointestinal disorders Experience Proven experience working as a Registered Dietitian in hospital or clinical settings with a focus on acute care or long-term care environments Demonstrated knowledge of physiology related to nutrition and the ability to apply this understanding in clinical practice Prior experience managing patients with complex dietary needs, including tube feeding and specialized nutrition support Skilled in motivational interviewing techniques to foster patient engagement and promote sustainable lifestyle changes Supervising experience is preferred, with a track record of guiding team members or interns effectively Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate documentation and patient record management Strong background in chronic disease management, weight loss programs, geriatrics, and dietary department operations Join us in delivering exceptional nutritional care that transforms lives!
