Job Description
Scheduled Weekly Hours:

- Coordinate and provide nutritional care and education for patients with various disease states and medical conditions.
Monitor, assess and optimize nutrition status based on the patient's current medical condition and/or nutrition adequacy.
Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:
One year prior experience at an acute care facility Function as a productive member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to work independently on assigned tasks Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize and plan work activities efficiently Organized with the ability to multi-task, handle interruptions and work effectively in a fast-paced, professional environment Supervise and mentor Nutrition Assistants to facilitate quality service Demonstrate clinical competence Proficiency in technology usage, including Microsoft Office Excellent command of oral and written English Demonstrated knowledge of food service operations Maintain licensure and credentialing through continuing education and training
Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:
Experience with Cerner a plus
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree and completion of an Accredited Dietetics program
License/Certification:
Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration Licensed Dietitian
