Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide expert nutritional guidance, develop personalized care plans, and support patients across various settings. Your expertise will help improve health outcomes, manage chronic diseases, and promote overall wellness. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including nutritional analysis and diagnostic evaluation to identify individual needs and develop tailored care plans Provide evidence-based nutrition counseling and medical nutrition therapy (MNT) to support weight management, chronic disease management, geriatrics, and acute care needs Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals such as physicians, nurses, and therapists to coordinate patient care and optimize treatment outcomes Deliver specialized nutrition support including tube feeding management, dietary modifications, and nutrition support for patients with specific dietary needs Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems to document assessments, interventions, progress notes, and care plans accurately Apply motivational interviewing techniques and health coaching strategies to motivate behavioral changes and enhance client engagement Supervise or mentor dietetic interns or junior staff members while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards in dietary departments or long-term care facilities Requirements Registered Dietitian Nutritionist credential from an accredited program with current licensure or certification as required by state law Proven experience in clinical nutrition, including hospital or long-term care settings with geriatrics and acute care experience Strong knowledge of physiology, medical nutrition therapy (MNT), and nutrition support techniques such as tube feeding Demonstrated skills in patient assessment, dietary planning, and diagnostic evaluation of nutritional status Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems for documentation and client communication Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate clients effectively on nutrition counseling and lifestyle modifications Experience working with individuals who have specific dietary needs or chronic conditions such as diabetes or cardiovascular disease Supervising experience preferred for leadership roles within dietary departments or healthcare teams Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to improving health through expert nutrition care! Pay:
$30.00 - $40.38 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 per week
