Day - Monday-Friday (Hybrid + Flexible Hours) 1 rotating weekend per 5 weeks.

Holy Cross Hospital, Silver Spring, MD We are offering a $10,000 New Hire Sign-on Bonus to external applicants (1 year of experience in acute care) .
Position Purpose:
The Clinical Registered Dietitian completes nutrition assessments and provides medical nutrition therapy using the nutrition care process in a timely manner.. As a "Clinical Registered Dietitian" you will: Completes nutrition assessments and provides medical nutrition therapy using the nutrition care process in a timely manner. Delivers individualized nutrition care to patients while performing within the scope of practice per Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Serves as a member of the interdisciplinary care team and participates in Performance Improvement projects. Provides nutrition education for the patients, family, medical and non-medical staff and community. Supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Health.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree OR verification statement from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics confirming completion of Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) Requirements is required. Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist in the State of Maryland is required. Active status as Registered Dietitian (RD), Registered Dietitian Nutrition (RDN), or Registered Dietitian Eligible (RDE) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) is required. Displays strong communication skills and ability to interact in a positive manner with physicians, patients, families, and other hospital staff. Demonstrates the ability to handle confidential information and situations. Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care setting preferred. Must be able to read, speak, and write English with understanding.
Pay Range:
$29.38 - $45.54 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
