Job Description

Job Summary Farmstead Living is seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Dietitian to support the nutritional health and well-being of our residents. This role works closely with residents, families, nursing staff, culinary services, and leadership to ensure balanced, nutritious, and enjoyable meal options that meet the unique dietary needs of seniors. The Dietitian plays a key role in promoting resident wellness, quality of life, and regulatory compliance through individualized nutritional support and menu oversight. Responsibilities Supervise dietary department staff when applicable, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and quality assurance protocols. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including nutritional analysis and diagnostic evaluation to identify specific dietary needs. Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals such as physicians, nurses, and therapists to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal nutritional support. Educate residents and staff on dietary modifications for specific conditions such as geriatrics or acute illnesses Experience Experience working as a Dietitian in a senior living community or healthcare setting. Prior supervisory experience within dietary or clinical nutrition departments is preferred. Background in managing care plans for patients with complex dietary needs. Experience working with diverse populations such as geriatrics or individuals requiring long-term care. Strong client communication skills with the ability to educate and motivate patients effectively while maintaining professionalism in sensitive situations. Pay:
$28.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 40.0 per week
