May work in a community setting or non-profit, governmental, or public health organization, offering nutritional advice to specific groups of people.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a
Dietician:
Manage and support the dietary team to ensure efficient, high-quality food service Assist in planning, scheduling, and supervising Health Center dietary personnel Provide on-the-job training for both kitchen and dining room staff Develop menus based on residents' nutritional needs and preferences Assign and oversee daily dietary tasks; monitor for quality and compliance Ensure nutritional adequacy of resident meals per policy Maintain required records, reports, schedules, and compliance documentation Participate in cost control measures and budget awareness Supervise and complete resident intake processes and food preference interviews Update dietary documentation ( kardex , menus, nourishment lists) based on dietitian input Attend Care Plan meetings and in-service training sessions as assigned Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have: High School Diploma/GED required Registered Dietitian (RD) or Certified Dietary Manager (CDM)•healthcare focus 2 + years supervisory experience in healthcare food service Safety & sanitation certification (food service)
Preferred :
