Summary We are seeking a Food Specialist at Lafayette House in the US to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring the nutritional needs of our clients are met with care and professionalism, contributing to their overall well-being and recovery process. Responsibilities Prepare and serve nutritious meals tailored to the dietary needs of clients. Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment adhering to health regulations. Collaborate with staff to regarding dietary accommodations, special needs, and meal service coordination. Ensure all food handling practices meet safety standards. Support the overall nutritional program aligned with our mission of healing and empowerment. Proven experience in food service or nutrition-related roles. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Creates a welcoming dining environment that supports client dignity, recovery, and community connection. Performs other duties deemed appropriate and assigned by the Director of Food Services.
