Provide nutrition counseling and health coaching to motivate clients towards sustainable lifestyle changes. Collaborate with healthcare professionals such as physicians, dietitians, and therapists to coordinate patient care and ensure integrated treatment approaches. Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems accurately for documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and nutritional support activities. Educate patients on nutrition support techniques including tube feeding and dietary modifications for specific conditions like geriatrics or acute care scenarios. Supervise dietary department staff when applicable, ensuring adherence to best practices in clinical nutrition and patient safety standards. Skills Extensive knowledge of physiology, clinical nutrition, and medical nutrition therapy (MNT). Proven experience with chronic disease management, weight loss programs, and long-term care environments. Strong client communication skills with expertise in motivational interviewing and personalized nutrition counseling. Ability to perform detailed patient assessments and nutritional analysis using EMR/EHR systems efficiently. Experience working with individuals with specific dietary needs such as geriatrics or those requiring specialized care plans. Supervising experience within dietary or hospital settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with healthcare protocols involving tube feeding, nutrition support, and diagnostic evaluation processes.
