Various hours 6am-7pm

Dietitian Duties & Responsibilities:

The position consists of reviewing records of clients, and medications to understand their nutritional needs. Based on assessment, they would develop a personalised meal plan. They may provide individual counseling and conduct training or workshops. They would assist with developing structured nutrition plans and menus. Also, assist in supervising activities of the kitchen department.

Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop individualized nutrition care plans. Provide evidence-based medical nutrition therapy for patients across various clinical settings. Counsel patients and families on nutrition, disease management, and healthy lifestyle choices. Monitor patient progress and modify nutrition interventions as appropriate. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care. Interpret laboratory values and clinical data to support nutrition recommendations. Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR). Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility nutrition standards and regulations. Educate healthcare staff on nutrition-related best practices as needed. Support quality improvement and patient education initiatives. Minimum Qualifications Current, valid, and unrestricted NY license/certification in good standing, as required for the position. Minimum of one (1) year/s of recent experience as an Dietitian .
