Job Summary:

We are seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD) for a temporary 3-month assignment in an acute care hospital setting in Elmhurst, NY. The Registered Dietitian will provide nutritional assessment, nutrition care planning, patient education, and dietary support as part of the healthcare team. Responsibilities Conduct patient nutritional assessments. Develop and implement nutrition care plans. Provide nutrition education to patients. Recommend appropriate diet modifications based on patient nutritional needs. Assist with menu modifications. Review and document patient nutritional information and interventions. Collaborate with healthcare professionals regarding patient nutrition needs. Complete required clinical documentation. Perform other duties related to the Registered Dietitian role as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Dietetics, Foods and Nutrition, or a related qualifying program . Minimum 1 year of Registered Dietitian experience . Current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) as a Registered Dietitian.
