Qualifications:
Ohio-licensed Registered Dietitian. Must have prior clinical experience and knowledge of food preparation, food safety, and sanitation. Experience in teaching and counseling nutrition therapy is a must. Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey detailed information effectively. Ability to accurately take and record measurements and readings.
Work Hours and Compensation:
Full-time position (.8 FTE) Starting at $29/hr, salary increases based on experience. Comprehensive benefits package included.
Responsibilities:
Provide nutrition counseling, create care plans, conduct assessments, and develop educational programs for diverse individuals. Assess nutritional needs and design care plans accordingly. Screen and evaluate patients for nutritional risks. Offer instructions on diet and food-drug interactions. Participate in Care Conferences to address nutritional needs of patients. Maintain timely documentation of high-risk patients' nutritional needs. Ensure privacy and confidentiality are maintained at all times. Attend mandatory in-service meetings for training and updates.
