Days Responsibilities & Requirements:

Oncology nutrition services are provided at KH Cancer Care locations by a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN). The Dietitian is a part of the multidisciplinary team who is responsible for assessment and implementation of Nutrition therapy and education of oncology outpatients who are receiving treatment for a cancer diagnosis. The dietitians also are qualified to discuss diet, nutrition, and lifestyle recommendations for survivorship, health promotion and disease prevention.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree from Didactic Program in Dietetics, Nutrition or related field. Dietetic Internship or Pre-professional Practice Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation/Approval for Dietetics Education of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Required Licenses [Ohio, United States] Dietitian and Nutritionist Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) or Registry Eligible with successful registration within 6 months of employment. Cancer Oncology Specialist (COS) preferred Ohio Licensure through the Ohio Medical Board, temporary or permanent as a Dietitian/ Nutritionist (prior to first day of employment)
