Claxton Dietetic Solutions, LLC is seeking a motivated Registered Dietitian to join our team supporting residents in skilled nursing and rehabilitation communities throughout Northeast Ohio. This flexible part-time position offers approximately 24 hours per week, with an additional quarterly assisted living visit (approximately 4 hours per quarter). This position is ideal for an RD who enjoys working independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team to provide high-quality nutrition care and support positive resident outcomes. Key Responsibilities Complete comprehensive nutrition assessments and documentation Develop and update individualized nutrition care plans Complete MDS documentation and nutrition-related care planning requirements Monitor resident nutritional status, weight trends, and clinical outcomes Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and nutrition risk reviews Conduct meal observations and dining rounds Perform food service and sanitation reviews as needed Provide nutrition education and support to residents, families, and staff Qualifications Registered Dietitian credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) Current state licensure/certification, as required Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills Ability to effectively manage an independent schedule Experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or geriatric nutrition preferred, but not required What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience and market factors Flexible scheduling Continuing education opportunities Employee discount program Supportive clinical leadership team Pre-Employment Requirements Criminal background screening TB screening Drug screening
