Full Job Description Role Overview:
Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for the Transitional Skilled Unit at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, PA. The role includes providing clinical nutrition care through MDS assessments, care planning, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to support patient outcomes. We welcome applications from both new graduates and experienced dietitians. This is a 24-hour/week position with on-site coverage three days per week. Additional hours may be available, including remote coverage of acute care facilities in the LVHN network. There is no weekend coverage, with occasional holiday coverage required. This part-time role offers benefits! What You'll Do:
Complete nutrition MDS assessments and assist with care plan development Monitor and document patient progress Collaborate with the care team to support patient nutrition goals Provide nutrition education to patients and families Maintain accurate documentation and support regulatory compliance

Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum Education Requirement:
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Credentials Requirement:
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
