Job Description:
We are seeking a Clinical Dietitian to provide medical nutrition therapy (MNT) for inpatient and outpatient populations . The Dietitian will perform nutrition screenings, comprehensive assessments, reassessments, and develop individualized nutrition care plans while collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team. The role also ensures compliance with regulatory standards and promotes high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
Perform nutrition screenings, assessments, and reassessments. Develop and implement individualized medical nutrition therapy (MNT) plans. Educate patients and families on nutrition-related conditions and healthy eating. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Document nutrition care accurately in Epic. Monitor patient progress and modify nutrition plans as needed. Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. Assist in supervising Nutrition and Culinary Services staff when required. Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field (required). Master's Degree (preferred). Registered Dietitian (RD) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). Active Pennsylvania Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist (LDN) license . Less than 1 year of experience required (clinical dietetics experience preferred). Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills. Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a clinical environment. AL01
