Job Summary Titusville Area Hospital is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide nutritional assessment, counseling, and education to both inpatients and outpatients. This position works closely with patients, families, physicians, nurses, and other members of the care team to develop individualized nutrition plans that support patient health and well-being. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments, including review of diet history, lifestyle, medical conditions, and nutritional needs. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans. Provide nutrition counseling and education to patients and families based on individual needs and physician orders. Instruct outpatients on modified diets and therapeutic nutrition plans. Review patient menus and dietary selections to ensure they are appropriate for current diet restrictions. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team regarding patients' nutritional needs and progress. Communicate with physicians regarding nutrition-related concerns and referrals when appropriate. Monitor patient progress and modify nutrition care plans based on outcomes and changing needs. Document nutritional assessments, interventions, education, and patient understanding accurately in the medical record. Make referrals to other healthcare disciplines or community programs when appropriate. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care planning. Facilitate and teach nutrition-related classes and programs as assigned. Assist with the development and implementation of nutrition education materials and program content. Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and hospital staff. Provide professional, compassionate, and patient-centered care while maintaining patient confidentiality. Follow hospital policies, professional standards of practice, and Corporate Compliance requirements.

Qualifications Required:

Bachelor's degree in Foods and Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field. Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Pay:

$32.00 - $34.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 - 16.0 per week
