Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dietitian to join our healthcare team, committed to promoting optimal nutrition and well-being for diverse patient populations. In this vital role, you will assess individual nutritional needs, develop personalized care plans, and provide expert guidance to support recovery, health maintenance, and disease management. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes across various settings, including acute care, long-term care, geriatrics, and specialized clinics. Join us in delivering compassionate, evidence-based nutritional care that empowers patients to achieve their health goals! Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate nutritional status and identify dietary needs using diagnostic evaluation techniques. Develop and implement tailored nutrition care plans that align with medical treatments, including managing tube feeding and specialized diets. Provide health coaching to motivate and educate patients on nutrition principles, weight loss strategies, and lifestyle modifications. Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting care plans as necessary to optimize health outcomes. Supervise dietary staff and oversee the dietary department's operations to ensure compliance with standards and quality of service. Utilize Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems efficiently to document assessments, interventions, and progress notes accurately. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in hospital or healthcare settings to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless nutritional support. Experience Proven experience in dietetics or nutrition within hospital or healthcare environments a plus Demonstrated supervising experience in a dietary or clinical setting is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of physiology related to digestion, metabolism, and disease processes affecting nutrition. Hands-on experience with tube feeding management and long-term care nutritional protocols. Familiarity with developing care plans for diverse populations including geriatrics and patients requiring acute or chronic care. Experience working with EMR systems for documentation and patient tracking is required. Prior involvement in dietary department operations within hospital or long-term care facilities is advantageous.
