Position Summary:
The primary purpose of your job is to plan and deliver nutritional care to residents in accordance with the physicians' orders and with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the community. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Dietary Policies and Procedures.Education/Qualifications:
Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or Foods and Nutrition and must hold an active state license as a Registered Dietitian. Must maintain active membership and registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Must possess two (2) years of experience as a professional dietitian or dietetic technician in long-term care with some administrative responsibility, or one (1) year experience as a registered consulting dietitian. Must possess working knowledge of the fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.Shift and Wage:
