Hybrid Registered Dietitian Nutritionist - Clinical Research (GLP-1 & Weight Management)

Florida Position Summary RD Nutrition Consultants is seeking a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) for a part-time hybrid position supporting a clinical research study focused on GLP-1 therapy and weight management . This role involves providing evidence-based nutrition counseling and lifestyle education to study participants while following standardized research protocols. This is an excellent opportunity for a dietitian interested in clinical research who is looking for a flexible, low-hour position with a combination of onsite and remote visits.

Position Details Part-time Schedule:

Approximately 2 hours per week (estimated 8 hours per month )

Participant Load:

Up to 5 active participants

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (scheduled around participant availability)

Visit Format:

Hybrid Study Visits per

Participant:

17 onsite visits 5 remote Telehealth visits

Focus:

GLP-1 therapy and weight management counseling

Compensation:

$40.00-$45.00 per hour , based on experience

Travel Reimbursement:

Paid travel time at your hourly rate, plus mileage reimbursement for required onsite visits Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive baseline nutrition assessments consistent with study protocols. Provide individualized nutrition counseling and lifestyle coaching during scheduled onsite and Telehealth study visits.

Deliver evidence-based education related to:

GLP-1 medications Weight management strategies Calorie intake and macronutrient balance Protein and hydration needs Sustainable behavior change Physical activity recommendations Review participant food logs, weight trends, and other study-related data prior to visits. Accurately document all participant encounters according to study requirements. Collaborate with the clinical research team to ensure protocol compliance. Maintain participant confidentiality and adhere to all study documentation and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program. Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Active Florida dietitian license (required). Experience in weight management, GLP-1 therapy, obesity medicine, or lifestyle counseling preferred. Previous clinical research experience is a plus but not required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable providing both onsite and Telehealth nutrition counseling. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
