POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Registered Dietitian to join our clinical team in a patient-facing role supporting diabetes management and medical weight loss. The ideal candidate brings strong clinical nutrition expertise, experience with diabetes education, and a genuine interest in helping patients navigate complex metabolic conditions. This position is based primarily at one location — Flower Mound or Fort Worth — per candidate preference. Telehealth visits offer some scheduling flexibility. Occasional cross-site coverage may be requested. Employment structure is flexible; W-2 and 1099 arrangements will be considered based on candidate qualifications and preference.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide individualized medical nutrition therapy (MNT) for patients with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, obesity, thyroid disorders, and related metabolic conditions
• Deliver diabetes self-management education and support (DSMES), including insulin pump therapy and carbohydrate counting
• Develop and implement evidence-based nutrition care plans aligned with patient labs, medications, and clinical goals
• Provide nutritional counseling and behavioral coaching for weight management, including support for patients on GLP-1 receptor agonist therapies
• Collaborate with endocrinologists and advanced practice providers on complex patient cases
• Facilitate individual and group education visits
• Contribute to the development of lifestyle medicine programming as the practice grows

QUALIFICATIONS

• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential — required
• Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) — strongly preferred
• Experience in endocrinology, diabetes care, or obesity medicine — preferred
• Certified Specialist in Obesity and Weight Management (CSOWM) — a plus
• Familiarity with GLP-1 therapies and medical weight management protocols
• Excellent patient communication and clinical documentation skills
• Ability to work independently within a collaborative specialty team
• Bilingual English/Spanish — a plus

COMPENSATION

$40

• 55 per hour, commensurate with credentials and experience
