Are you a Registered Dietician (RD) looking for a rewarding career in Providence ? Join our exceptional team at, conveniently located at 455 Douglas Ave, Providence, RI 02908 . We are seeking a dedicated Registered Dietician (RD) to help us deliver outstanding care to our residents.
Responsibilities:
Develop personalized meal plans Provide nutrition counseling and education to patients on healthy eating habits and lifestyle changes Monitor and evaluate patients' progress and adjust meal plans as needed Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients with specific medical conditions Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition and dietetics Provide health coaching to individuals or groups on topics such as weight management, diabetes management, and heart health Conduct diagnostic evaluations to identify nutritional deficiencies or imbalances Develop and implement tube feeding plans for patients who are unable to consume food orally
Requirements:
Licensed/ Certified Registered Dietitian in Rhode Island Analyzing and documentation of admissions, high-risk residents, tube-feeders, dialysis and weight loss. Documentation to include goals, dietary restrictions, tracking clients' dietary intake and progress. Providing education to residents, on how to maintain a balanced diet and optimum health. Knowledge of RAI process, MDS, CAA and Care Plans Knowledge of HIPAA, to ensure privacy and to safeguard resident information.
