Job Description
Role Overview:
Provides pediatric nutrition therapy by formulating and implementing individualized nutrition plans, evaluating outcomes, and coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams. Utilizes evidence-based guidelines, performs comprehensive assessments including anthropometric measurements, and adjusts nutrition plans accordingly. Offers age-specific, culturally appropriate counseling and education to patients and caregivers, documenting comprehension and compliance. Manages formula orders, monitors nutritional status, and collaborates with foodservice and case management to ensure resource availability. Demonstrates professional development, leadership, and quality improvement skills.Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Dietetics (Master's preferred)
- Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist certification
- Knowledge of pediatric nutrition, growth needs, and medical nutrition therapy
- Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to perform physical activities and detailed assessments
