Job Description

Overview Join our group practice office opening in Lubbock, Tx as a Registered Dietitian! In this vital role, you will provide expert nutritional care and guidance to patients through Medical Nutrition Therapy and Cognitive Behavior Counseling. Your expertise will support a multidisciplinary team in delivering personalized nutrition plans, conducting comprehensive patient assessments, and implementing evidence-based interventions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients while working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment committed to excellence. This role has the potential for hybrid work and the potetntial to grow into full-time work if desired. Premium pay for evening and weekend appointments.
THIS POSITION WILL NOT START UNTIL EARLY-MID OCTOBER AT THE EARLIEST DUE TO INSURANCE CREDENTIALING TIME.
Responsibilities Conduct thorough nutritional assessments for adults and/or pediatric patients including obesity, prediabetes/diabetes, lipid metabolism disorders, eating disorders, picky eating, food allergies, women's health, heart disease, kidney disease, etc. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans tailored to each patient's unique health status and developmental requirements Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate diagnostic evaluations and integrate nutrition strategies into overall treatment plans Educate patients and families on nutrition principles, health coaching techniques, and lifestyle modifications to promote healthy growth and development Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems efficiently to document assessments, care plans, progress notes, and follow-up actions Other responsibilities as assigned Qualifications Valid registration as a Registered Dietitian (RD) with current licensure or certification in good standing Experience in outpatient nutrition counseling preferred Hands-on experience with EMR systems used in hospital or clinical settings Demonstrated ability to develop comprehensive care plans that incorporate nutrition therapy for diverse patient populations Excellent patient assessment skills combined with effective health coaching abilities to motivate positive behavioral changes Join us in shaping healthier futures by providing compassionate, expert nutritional care. Pay:
$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
