Job Description

A well-established gastroenterology practice in Plano, Texas is looking for a full-time Registered Dietitian to join our friendly, collaborative care team. We offer comprehensive GI care and need a knowledgeable, patient-focused dietitian to help patients manage gastrointestinal conditions through proper nutrition. The ideal candidate will work closely with our gastroenterologist and clinical staff to provide evidence-based nutrition counseling and education.
Responsibilities include:
Providing personalized nutrition assessments and counseling for patients with GI conditions such as IBS, IBD, GERD, celiac disease, liver disease, food intolerances, post-procedure recovery, and more. This involves creating tailored meal plans and dietary strategies, including low-FODMAP, gluten-free, anti-inflammatory, and other therapeutic diets. Educating patients on nutrition-related lifestyle changes to improve symptoms and quality of life is key, along with collaborating with physicians and the care team on treatment plans. Additional duties include thorough documentation in the electronic health record and supporting practice growth through high-quality patient education and positive outcomes.
Qualifications:
Current Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential with interest in Gastrointenstinal Texas state licensure Excellent communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently while collaborating within a physician-led team
Pay:
From $31.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
