REGISTERED DIETITIAN

Full-Time, salaried non-exempt, Monday- Friday 9am

Your goals and objectives include:
The Registered Dietitian also serves as the Dietary/Kitchen supervisor (provides supervision/mentorship to the Lead Chef) Approves menus including modified diets from the hospital, provides nutritional assessments for patients as needed, and counsel's patients and their families on dietary plans, food selections, preparation and nutritional principles. Monitors the performance improvement plans of the Dietary Services department and provides input in the development and implementation of patient care plans in relation to nutritional needs. Coordinate Dietary Services Department within The Joint Commission (TJC) standards Knowledge of all facets of nutritional and dietary planning, including unique dietary needs of adolescents and adults age groups. Master's degreeREQUIRED
(effective 2020) Utah Registered Dietitan (RD) licenseREQUIRED
Food Handler's permit required One (1)- three (3) years dietitian experience in an acute psychiatric hospital setting preferred.
