2965769888-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Intermountain Health seeks a Registered Dietitian to provide evidence-based inpatient clinical nutrition and lifestyle medicine services. In this role, you will complete nutrition assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide medical nutrition therapy for diverse acute and chronic conditions. You will educate patients and families on therapeutic diets and lifestyle interventions, collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and care teams, and document care in the EHR. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive inpatient nutrition assessments and develop individualized care plans Provide medical nutrition therapy for acute and chronic conditions, including nutrition support Deliver lifestyle medicine counseling focused on diet, physical activity, and behavior change Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic diets and discharge nutrition plans Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize clinical outcomes Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) Identify and code malnutrition following evidence-based criteria and organizational standards Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical protocol initiatives Contribute to team-based rounds and care conferences for high-risk patients Stay current with clinical nutrition and lifestyle medicine research and best practices.
