Responsible for coordinating all aspects of nutrition care and will coordinate with other healthcare professionals as needed. Competent use of the Nutrition Care Process, including nutrition assessment, identification of nutritional diagnosis, implementation of appropriate intervention, and formulation of patient specific goals, monitoring, evaluation, and follow up of outcomes. Using evidence-based nutrition practice guidelines, provide nutrition education to patients and families in outpatient and/or inpatient settings. Provide consultation services to other healthcare providers and participate in the interdisciplinary team. Document in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulations. Make referrals to other services, agencies, and community resources when appropriate. Evaluate laboratory tests in preparing nutrition recommendations.
Salary from:
$33.13 to $49.69 per hour, plus great benefit package including excellent health benefits and tuition reimbursement to support continuing education.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a closely related field (foreign equivalent accepted) and must be a Registered Dietitian before January 1, 2024; OR Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or closely related field (foreign equivalent accepted) and must pass Registered Dietitian examination within 90 days of hire; and Certified as a Dietitian in State of Washington or eligibility for certification Employment will be contingent upon passing background check and drug test.
