Boring Operator - performs operational work related to setting up, operating and maintaining machinery on a boring line. To operate proficiently, individual must operate consistently at or above target production levels.
Principal Responsibilities:
  • Operate machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Set up equipment for production runs.
  • Monitor machine performance and product quality.
  • Make minor machine adjustments and troubleshoot downtime.
  • Inspect finished products for defects and perform QC inspections.
  • Complete production records and reports.
  • Participates and contributes to company safety program
  • Follow safety procedures and workplace regulations such as LOTO and proper PPE.
  • Perform routine cleaning.
  • Be able to read a tape measure and perform simple math.
  • Perform other job related duties as assigned.
