Tuscaloosa, AL Job Details Full-time 3 hours ago Qualifications Staff supervision RN License Full Job Description We are seeking a strong, compassionate nursing leader to oversee clinical operations and support a high-performing healthcare team. The Director of Nursing will ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care while providing leadership, guidance, and support to clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise clinical staff, including RNs, LPNs, MAs, CNAs, and Lab Technicians. Oversee nursing care and ensure high-quality, patient-centered care for all clinic patients. Conduct daily staff huddles and ensure appropriate staffing and clinic coverage. Manage staff schedules, performance evaluations, coaching, and performance concerns. Lead the hiring, onboarding, orientation, and training of new clinical staff. Monitor clinic workflow and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, patient flow, and quality of care. Conduct regular clinical rounds to ensure smooth patient flow and address staffing, patient care, and medical needs. Collaborate closely with providers and leadership to communicate changes in staffing, patient conditions, and clinical needs. Provide ongoing clinical guidance, mentoring, and support to the nursing team. Promote compliance with clinical standards, safety procedures, and organizational policies. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program; Master's degree preferred. Active Alabama RN license required. Minimum of 5 years of experience supervising medical staff. 1-2 years of professional nursing experience in an ambulatory care setting preferred. Strong knowledge of public health nursing principles, healthcare regulations, and safety practices. Knowledge of community and social resources for patient care and support. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and clinical skills.
