The Green House Cottages of Belle Meade is hiring for an Assistant Director of Nursing position: Green House Cottages of Belle Meade prides itself on providing exceptional care to each resident. Our highly skilled healthcare professionals - coupled with sophisticated therapies and high-tech treatments - deliver world-class short-term rehabilitation and long-term care that is patient-centered and dedicated to achieving the best possible outcomes. We are looking for an Assistant Director of Nursing to add to our team!
Qualifications include:
Registered Nurse 2 years minimal managerial experience Long term care experience able to develop and lead a team of charge nurses and certified nursing aides that will provide the highest quality care to the elders we serve. Scheduling for the nurses Floor coverage when needed
Assistant Director of Nursing Job Description:
Plans, directs, and coordinates resident care activities for facility to maintain standards of residents' care Advises medical staff, department heads, and administrators in matters related to nursing service Assists the Director of Nursing Services in directing the activities of licensed and non-licensed personnel who provide healthcare and nursing service to the residents Coordinates implementation of methods and procedures to ensure achievement of objectives Interprets policies and objectives of nursing service to staff and community groups Assists the Director of Nursing Services in ensuring nursing staff awareness and compliance with Federal and State regulations relative to resident rights issues In the absence of the Director of Nursing, conducts staff meetings
Assistant Director of Nursing Job Requirements:
Requires knowledge and skill of professional nursing theory and practice, leadership in administration, principles of effective teaching and learning and effective interpersonal relationships and communication Knowledge, understanding, acceptance, and support of the philosophy, objectives, and policies of the nursing service and the institution as a whole
Minimum Associate's Degree State Nursing License Job Type:

$28.00 - $35.00 per hour
