• Director of Nursing
• to provide leadership and oversight for nursing services throughout Maricopa County.

This position will lead nursing teams, strengthen clinical operations, and ensure patients receive safe, compassionate, and high-quality care. The ideal candidate is a hands-on nursing leader with experience in behavioral health, psychiatric care, crisis services, detoxification, substance-use treatment, or a related setting.

• Responsibilities
• + Provide leadership and direction for nursing services and clinical operations + Lead, mentor, and develop Nurse Managers, supervisors, and frontline nursing staff + Oversee staffing, scheduling, training, performance management, and nursing competencies + Promote a collaborative, accountable, and patient-centered workplace culture + Ensure compliance with licensing, accreditation, organizational, and regulatory standards + Monitor clinical outcomes and identify opportunities to improve quality and patient safety + Collaborate with medical providers, behavioral health professionals, and operational leaders + Develop, implement, and maintain nursing policies, procedures, and evidence-based practices + Support incident reviews, corrective action plans, and quality-improvement initiatives + Participate in strategic planning and help advance the organization's community-focused mission •Qualifications•+ Active and unrestricted Arizona Registered Nurse license + Bachelor's degree in Nursing required + Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred + Progressive nursing leadership experience at the Nurse Manager, Director, or equivalent level + Behavioral health, psychiatric, crisis stabilization, detoxification, substance-use treatment, or similar experience strongly preferred + Knowledge of clinical compliance, quality standards, regulatory requirements, and patient safety + Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and competing operational priorities + Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills + Compassionate, visible, and hands-on leadership style + Commitment to serving individuals with complex behavioral health and community-based needs •Benefits•+ Competitive compensation + Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage + Retirement plan + Paid time off + Leadership growth and professional-development opportunities + Mission-driven work that directly impacts individuals and communities throughout Arizona This is an excellent opportunity for a nursing leader who wants to influence clinical strategy, strengthen nursing operations, and support teams providing essential behavioral health services.
