Join our compassionate, resident-focused Assisted Living and Memory Care community, where we are committed to creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for residents, families, and team members alike. As our Wellness Director, you will lead the clinical and wellness operations of our Assisted Living and Memory Care neighborhoods, ensuring residents receive the highest quality, person-centered care. This key leadership role is responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance, supporting and mentoring nursing and caregiving teams, and fostering a culture of compassion, accountability, and excellence. The ideal candidate is a strong clinical leader with a passion for senior care, outstanding communication skills, and a commitment to creating positive outcomes for residents and staff. Specific Requirements Lead, coach, and support nursing, caregiver, and medication technician teams. Manage staffing and scheduling to ensure quality resident care. Oversee resident assessments, care plans, and clinical documentation. Ensure safe medication management and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with residents, families, physicians, and healthcare partners to coordinate care. Monitor quality assurance, risk management, and performance improvement initiatives. Address resident, family, and staff concerns with professionalism and compassion. Ensure compliance with community policies, training requirements, and state regulations. Core Competencies Strong knowledge of nursing practices and assisted living/memory care regulations preferred. Compassionate, resident-centered approach to care. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Proven leadership, team development, and decision-making abilities. Ability to manage staffing, delegate responsibilities, and address employee concerns effectively. Professional, adaptable, and committed to continuous quality improvement. Qualifications Must possess an active, unencumbered, license to practice as a Licensed Nurse in the state of Arizona. Can be Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN). 3-5 years of nursing leadership experience in assisted living, memory care, or long-term care, preferably Wellness Director, Director of Care, Director of Nursing (DON) role. Strong knowledge of dementia care practices, clinical compliance, and state regulations preferred. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Commitment to fostering teamwork, staff development, and resident-centered care. AZ Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (we will assist with application if needed) Completion of a 2-Step TB Test (available on-site if needed) Hands on CPR/AED certification for Healthcare Professionals Benefits and Compensation Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision.
