The DON leads the skilled nursing facility on campus and reports to the Nursing Home Administrator. This is a permanent, full-time leadership role. The community is preparing for its next annual state survey in spring 2027 and is looking for a DON with a strong track record of survey readiness and regulatory compliance. What you will do

• Direct all clinical operations and nursing staff in the skilled nursing facility
• Own survey readiness, QAPI, and compliance with Title 22 and CMS regulations
• Build clinical systems that hold up to scrutiny and keep quality ratings strong
• Coach, develop, and retain nurse managers and direct care staff
• Partner with the administrator and executive team on resident care, staffing, and budget What we are looking for
• Active California RN license
• 5 or more years of experience as a Director of Nursing in a California skilled nursing facility
• Demonstrated history of successful annual surveys and survey management
• Deep working knowledge of Title 22 and federal long-term care regulations
• Steady, experienced leadership style and strong people management skills Compensation and details
• Salary range $150,000 to $180,000 depending on experience, plus a full benefits package
• Relocation assistance available for the right candidate
