CPR Full Job Description Director of Nursing:
Job description: Responsible for coordinating and controlling the multi-disciplinary activities required providing a safe environment for patients undergoing surgical intervention, oversight of all unit specific needs related to regulatory compliance. General Duties Ensures the nursing needs of all patients are met. Complies with
OSHA, CAL
OSHA and federal and state labor laws. Provide direct care as needed, balancing patient care with DON duties. Assumes primary responsibility in an emergency, must maintain competency with all emergency procedures, and initiate CPR and emergency measures as needed. Acts as Employee Health Nurse, ensuring all staff are current with required vaccinations/immunizations. Leads and organizes Emergency Preparedness Drills and clinical in-services. Completes performance evaluations and competencies on all nurses and surgical technicians. Infection preventionist, laser safety officer, and radiation safety officer to ensure policies and processes are followed. Assures facility is survey ready and in compliance with facility policy, and state and federal regulations.
Required:
CA RN license, BSN
ACLS/BLS
Circulator, Pre-op and PACU experience
Preferred:
5 + Managerial experience in an ASC Gender Affirming care experience
Pay:
From $90.00 per hour
