Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Resident Services Director to lead and oversee the delivery of exceptional care and services within our long-term care community. This pivotal role involves managing resident relations, ensuring regulatory compliance, supervising clinical and administrative staff, and fostering a warm, engaging environment that promotes residents' dignity, independence, and well-being. The Resident Services Director will serve as a key leader in maintaining high standards of care, managing operational workflows, and upholding residents' rights in accordance with federal and state regulations. Responsibilities Lead the overall management of resident care services, ensuring personalized care plans are developed, implemented, and regularly reviewed to meet each resident's needs. Supervise nursing staff, including nurse managers and direct caregivers, providing guidance on clinical practices, documentation review, and compliance with long-term care regulations. Oversee regulatory compliance related to Medicare, HIPAA, state licensing requirements, and other federal or state mandates affecting long-term care facilities. Ensure accurate management of medical records, electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), and documentation review processes to maintain data integrity and confidentiality. Facilitate effective communication with residents' families regarding care plans, health updates, and service satisfaction to foster trust and transparency. Manage staff scheduling across shifts to ensure adequate coverage for all resident needs while promoting a positive work environment through leadership and supervising experience. Monitor quality assurance initiatives related to resident safety, infection control, memory care programs, and overall facility operations. Requirements Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home environments with a strong understanding of long-term care facility operations. Extensive knowledge of resident's rights, Medicare regulations, MDS (Minimum Data Set) assessments, and long-term care regulations. Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in nursing administration or healthcare management roles. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems used for medical records management and documentation review processes. Strong understanding of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and patient care practices essential for managing diverse resident needs. Experience managing care facility teams with a focus on regulatory compliance and quality improvement initiatives. Excellent communication skills for engaging with residents' families, staff members, regulatory agencies, and healthcare providers. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively across shifts while maintaining high standards of patient care and operational efficiency.
Pay:
$49,920.00 - $56,160.00 per year
