Job Description

Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team. This pivotal role will oversee nursing operations, ensuring the highest standards of patient care while fostering a collaborative environment among our healthcare professionals. Responsibilities Lead and manage the nursing department, ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards. Develop and implement effective care plans tailored to individual patient needs. Supervise nursing staff, providing guidance and support in daily operations and shift management. Ensure proper documentation and adherence to HIPAA regulations in all patient interactions. Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to optimize outcomes. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care quality across the facility. Oversee training and development programs for nursing staff to maintain high standards of practice. Manage budgets and resources effectively to support departmental goals. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid state license; BSN preferred. Proven experience in nursing management or leadership roles within a healthcare setting. Strong knowledge of care plans, acute care, hospice care, and assisted living environments. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and inspire a diverse team. In-depth understanding of Medicare regulations and compliance requirements. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality practices. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.

$115,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
