Nursing Full Job Description Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to oversee our clinical operations. MUST have a very strong knowledge and experience in Hospice care, charting and comply with CHAP regulations. The ideal candidate will also have a strong background in acute care, possess excellent supervisory skills, and be knowledgeable in medical terminology and physiology.

Duties:

• Develop and implement nursing care plans for Hospice patients.
• Supervise nursing staff, including doctors and nurses
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Oversee patient care in various settings such as Hospice, assisted living, etc.
• Utilize expertise in medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing; Master's degree preferred
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Strong knowledge and experience in Hospice
• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a healthcare setting
• Familiarity with care plans and patient assessments with Hospice patients
