Position Overview:

The Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for overseeing Comfort Keepers nursing program while ensuring the highest standards of quality, compliance, and caregiver support. This leadership role is perfect for a nurse who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about senior care.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and support nursing staff Conduct VA assessments Conduct client assessments and develop care plans Ensure compliance with state regulations and company standards Provide training, coaching, and performance oversight Collaborate with office staff, families, and healthcare partners Grow our private duty nursing program by community marketing and relationship building

Qualifications:

Active RN license (required) Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Experience in home care, hospice, or senior services a plus
