HH Director of Nursing First Senior Home Health Clearwater - Clearwater, FL 33762 Apply Overview Position Type Full Time Apply Description Description This leadership position oversees the nursing staff and ensures the highest quality of care and will collaborate with the Administrator to develop patient care programs, manage clinical operations, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Responsibilities Oversee the recruitment, training, and management of nursing staff to ensure a competent and compassionate workforce. Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care programs in collaboration with other healthcare professionals tailored to the unique needs of seniors. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations concerning the healthcare industry and adherence to internal policies and procedures. Monitor patient care for quality assurance and implement improvements as necessary to meet the highest standards of healthcare services. Serve as a liaison between the nursing staff, patients, their families, and healthcare providers to facilitate effective communication and patient satisfaction. Collaborates with the Administrator on preparing and managing budgets, allocating resources efficiently, and ensuring the sustainability of nursing operations. Stay informed on the latest healthcare trends, technologies, and best practices to promote continuous improvement in patient care services. Promote a culture of professionalism, respect, and empathy within the nursing staff to foster a positive work environment and high-quality patient care.
