A skilled nursing and rehabilitation center is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to help lead our clinical team and deliver exceptional resident care. In this role, you will partner with the Director of Nursing to support daily operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a culture of excellence, compassion, and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing all nursing operations Ensure compliance with state, federal, and regulatory requirements Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to nursing staff Plan, implement, and evaluate clinical programs and services Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident care Participate in Quality Assurance, Infection Control, Safety, and leadership committees Oversee staff onboarding, training, and development Conduct staff meetings to address challenges and drive engagement Support survey readiness and participate in accreditation processes Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field preferred Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in a skilled nursing setting Strong knowledge of OBRA, Joint Commission, and state regulations Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) Ability to participate in an on-call rotation Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Passion for providing high-quality care to geriatric and sub-acute populations Equal Opportunity Employer https://crw.flclearinghouse.com/
