RN Unit Manager :
Assisting the Director of Nursing (DON) in managing daily nursing operations Acting as a main point of contact between residents and their families Addressing and preventing concerns from family members Assisting with staffing management through training & mentoring Qualifications for an
RN Unit Manager :
Associate's degree or above in Nursing (ASN) or Practical Nursing Diploma required. Clear and active Registered Nurse (RN) or LPN Licensure in the state of practice required. One (1+) years nursing experience required with prior Sub-Acute Care or Long-Term Care nursing experience preferred.

Requirements:
ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing preferred.
  • Valid State license.
  • One to three years (1-3) years of supervisory experience preferred.
SUPERVISORY
RESPONSIBILITIESSupervises nursing staff and others for whom they are administratively or professionally responsible.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND
ENVIRONMENTMay be required to respond to critical issues on a 24/7 basis. Employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands or fingers, reach with hands and arms, feel, talk and hear. Employee is occasionally exposed to blood or other body fluids, fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Adheres to and oversees communication of privacy guidelines relative to the confidentiality of residents' protected health information. Participates in (or conducts) company-sponsored training to safeguard against improper use and disclosure of such information. Monitors and ensures compliance with company policies, procedures and state and federal law.

Starting at $90,000 per year
