Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
The DON has administrative and managerial authority, responsibility, and accountability for the functions, activities, and training of the nursing services' staff. The DON is under the direction of the administrator and is directly responsible to the administrator.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. RN - graduate of an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed to practice nursing in the state of Georgia 2. Professional experience in the practice of geriatrics, nursing administration, and other related areas. 3. Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills in the areas of nursing administration, nursing practice, rehabilitation, and employee relations management. 4. Ability to perform physical and mental requirements of the job. 5. CPR certified (desired).
