Assistant Director of NursingREPORTS TO
Director of Nursing Non-ExemptPURPOSE OF POSITION
The primary purpose of the position is to assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing and directing the day-to-day operation of the Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern the facility. Assist the Director of Nursing in assuring that resident care is properly provided.Make frequent rounds on units to oversee resident care.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia.Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as law, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.
