Job Description

Salary:
Range begins at $80,000 annually. Salary will be commensurate with education and work experience.

AVP of Nursing Location:
New hires will initially float between campuses during orientation but will ultimately be assigned a primary location
Primary Nursing Campuses:
Griffin and Thomaston SCTC Locations:
Jackson, Peachtree City, McDonough, and Monticello Schedule:
Monday through Friday; however, candidates should be flexible and available for occasional weekend responsibilities
Required:
Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution. Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license. 3-5 years of experience in higher education nursing programs within the past 7 years. Supervisory or leadership experience in education and/or healthcare settings.
Preferred:
3-5 years of post-secondary teaching experience. Experience with curriculum development, program evaluation, budgeting, and faculty supervision. Knowledge of SACSCOC, ACEN, and GBON accreditation requirements. Previous experience as a Program Coordinator, Director, Dean, or Department Chair. Familiarity with Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) policies and procedures. DNP, PhD, EdD, or a graduate degree in Nursing Education or a related field. Position Summary The Director of the ASN Traditional Program provides leadership and oversight for nursing program operations across campus locations. This role combines administrative leadership with instructional responsibilities and reports directly to the Assistant Vice President of Nursing. Must be able to start by October 2026!
